As part of India’s global outreach against terrorism, JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha declared on Friday that India will no longer differentiate between terrorists and the states that harbor or support them. Speaking at an outreach event in Tokyo, Jha emphasized the country’s zero-tolerance policy and affirmed that any further terrorist acts would be met with resolute military action.

“India, along with countries like Japan, has zero tolerance for terrorism. We will not make any distinction between terrorists and the country that promotes them. We will not accept any nuclear blackmail,” Jha said firmly.

Leading an all-party delegation to Japan and other East Asian countries, Jha said the unified message from India was clear: the fight against terrorism is a global responsibility, not India’s alone.

“The entire delegation has come together on one issue—to convey our message to the world that the fight against terrorism is not only for India, it is for the entire world,” he added.

He hailed Japan as a special and strategic partner and highlighted the shared democratic values between the two nations. Recounting recent high-level meetings, including those with Japan’s Foreign Minister, former Prime Minister, and the Speaker of Parliament, Jha thanked Japan for its solidarity in condemning the April terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier in the day, the Indian delegation met Minoru Kihara, Japan’s former Defence Minister, and Shinako Tsuchiya, Director General of the International Bureau of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), where they reaffirmed India’s unwavering stance against terrorism.

“Fruitful interaction…India’s strong resolve to fight every form of terrorism was reiterated,” the Indian Embassy in Japan posted on X.

The delegation’s visit follows Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the deadly April terror attack in Pahalgam. India’s all-party representatives are currently visiting Japan, Slovenia, Greece, Latvia, and Spain to build global consensus and reinforce India’s message of zero tolerance for terrorism.
